Eurobond FlexiFix® is a fast curing, 2-part flexible structural adhesive designed to bond just about any material combination including most metals, powder coated or wet painted metals, plastics (except for low surface energy plastics such as PTFE, Polyproylene etc), glass, woods, composites, Dibond, GRP, stone and brick. FlexiFix® has high resistance to peel and shear forces. When cured it allows for movement in the joint which may be caused by vibration, thermal cycling, differential expansion between two different materials, shock, impact or mechanical forces acting on the joint.
Eurobond FlexiFix® has a work life of up to 19 minutes giving the fabricator the opportunity to work on larger work pieces without the adhesive partially curing. Handling strength at room temperature can be achieved in approximately 25-35 minutes allowing the workpiece to be handled or moved without causing detriment to the bond line and full cure is reached (dependent on the room temperature) between 12-24 hours.
Eurobond FlexiFix® is a new generation of adhesive technology is now widely used in vehicle body manufacture, modular buildings, automotive and marine applications and in Sign making applications too! In fact, FlexiFix® offers the Sign maker a controllable adhesive that will not leave ‘’pull through’’ marks on composite materials such as Dibond including mirror finished Dibond.
Eurobond FlexiFix® is available in either 50ml cartridges or 490ml cartridges and come complete with a disposable nozzle. The nozzle ensures the two components mix sufficiently, while dispensing in a smooth and even flow. The cartridges also require 10:1 ratio dispensing guns.
