How to Bond Channel Using Tape

This video is an easy to understand step-by-step guide on how to bond sign channel using Eurobond Adhesive VHB style acrylic tape. You will learn how to carry out the correct surface preparation and see techniques on how to apply the tape to ensure that you get it right first time every time.

Eurobond Adhesive’s very high strength acrylic tape will bond most materials together immediately on contact. 50% of its strength is achieved on contact and full strength is achieved after 72 hours. This acrylic tape is weather resistant and will bond most metals, plastics, glass, composites such as DiBond and Alucabond, carbon-fibre, fibreglass, painted surfaces, and much more. Porous surfaces such as wood & plaster will need to be primed with our adhesive primer before the tape is applied in order to achieve high strength and durability. Eurobond’s acrylic tapes are available in many different widths including 12mm, 19mm, 25mm, 50mm or log rolls and are also available in a range of thicknesses from 0.25mm to 2mm. We can even supply bespoke die cut shapes to perfectly match the geometry of your specific product. Eurobond Adhesives are one of the foremost and most trusted suppliers of acrylic tapes and structural adhesives to literally thousands of businesses including sign makers and metal and plastic fabricators throughout Europe.
