Vitralit® 506-40-1 is a UV and visible light cure adhesive with a short cure time and good adhesion to a range of substrates including plastics and metals.
Vitralit® 506-40-1 has a short cure time and a dry to touch cured surface, with an operating temperature range of -50°C to +150°C. This UV cure adhesive is semi flexible when cured and very versatile, offering some resistance to vibration, shock, and impact.
Vitralit® 506-40-1has good adhesion to many plastics including acrylic, polycarbonate as well as to many metal substrates like aluminium, steel, ceramics and glass.
Typical applications include potting applications, stress release, coating and for form in place gaskets, and is an ideal alternative to using UV curing silicone.
